Master Socket Upgrade

In April 2007 BT Openreach stopped supporting Star Wiring and all internal faults including the junction box became the property owners responsibility.

BT Openreach charge £144 to install a new socket. However they will not reconnect you internal wiring as this may cause a fault, which then they become liable to fix as they connected the cables.

If you are located within 10 miles of L35 the cost for BTfix to install a new socket is £75* and I will reconnect and test all your internal sockets. If a fault is located within your internal wiring this may incur an additional charge. If the overall works take over 1hr to complete.

* Residential Lines only, Addition travel cost may apply if you are more than 10 miles away from L35 (charged at 50p per extra mile "one way", return mileage not charged")
